This spring, Dee Holt retired as director of Birthline of Loveland. She has served clients, babies and families at Birthline for 14 years, 7 as director. Birthline would not be the successful pregnancy center and community resource that it is today without her strong and loving leadership over the years!

Dee has accomplished much within Birthline. Dee has expanded Birthline’s impact immensely with a growing online presence, by holding regular, intensive trainings twice each year for volunteers, and by consistently educating both herself and those within the organization and staying up-to-date with policies and procedures. Under her vision, clients now come to Birthline not only to find maternity and baby clothes, but to visit with an advocate and share their stories as we offer loving guidance. Dee initiated Man to Man, our mentoring program for new dads. Her value for excellence shows in everything she influences. One of Dee’s greatest accomplishments was the transition of Birthline’s office to the Life Center building. She worked tirelessly for months organizing, planning, fundraising, and packing and moving boxes! We certainly could not have done it without her.

In the last 7 years, Birthline received over 4,800 clients and welcomed 377 babies into the world! Well done, Dee!

Dee’s example has shown us how to serve everyone we meet with grace, humility, and abundant love. Her passion for the sanctity of life, her perseverance in the struggles and setbacks, and her enthusiasm and celebration in the victories has kept the momentum of Birthline’s purpose alive – not only alive, but thriving. Dee doesn’t just talk about righting the wrongs in the world – she does something about it. She stands for justice in the middle of an unjust culture. She walks out the purest faith in Jesus Christ, and her faith inspires many. Countless lives have been changed because of Dee’s service, and we can never thank her enough.
